Terms of Service

Terms and conditions governing your use of SecurityBox and the securitybox.io website.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SecurityBox platform and securitybox.io website operated by CyberHunter Solutions (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

SecurityBox is a managed continuous behavioral risk assessment platform. Our services include:

  • SecurityBox-Network — On-premises network behavioral analysis via physical or virtual appliance
  • SecurityBox-Cloud — Cloud-native risk assessment for Microsoft 365, Azure, and connected environments
  • SentinelOne XDR Add-On — Endpoint detection and response integrated with the SecurityBox platform
  • Managed and Co-Managed Operations — Continuous risk assessment, investigation, reporting, and recommendations

2. Service Agreement

Engagement

Services are provided under a month-to-month agreement unless otherwise specified in a written service order. There are no long-term contracts required.

Pricing

Pricing is based on the number of hosts, identities, sites, and add-ons under management. Current pricing is published at securitybox.io/pricing. We will provide 30 days’ written notice of any pricing changes.

30-Day Guarantee

If SecurityBox does not produce actionable findings that improve your security posture within the first 30 days, we will refund your first month’s payment in full upon request. The guarantee applies to the first month of service only.

Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days’ written notice. Upon termination, we will:

  • Provide a final risk assessment report
  • Remove or decommission all SecurityBox appliances
  • Delete platform telemetry within 90 days
  • Retain risk assessment reports for 1 year unless you request earlier deletion

3. Your Responsibilities

As a SecurityBox client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your environment for proper deployment and configuration
  • Maintain appropriate network access for SecurityBox appliances or cloud connectors
  • Notify us of significant infrastructure changes that may affect monitoring coverage
  • Act on critical findings in a timely manner (we provide recommendations; implementation is your responsibility)
  • Ensure authorized personnel are designated to receive findings and reports

4. Our Responsibilities

CyberHunter Solutions will:

  • Operate the SecurityBox platform with commercially reasonable care
  • Provide continuous behavioral risk assessment during the service period
  • Deliver weekly risk trend reports and actionable recommendations
  • Respond to critical findings within the timeframes specified in your service order
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your environment data and assessment findings

5. Data and Confidentiality

Your Data

All security telemetry, risk assessments, and findings generated from your environment remain your property. We process this data solely to deliver SecurityBox services.

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of information exchanged during the service relationship. This includes environment details, risk findings, network architecture, and any proprietary information. Confidentiality obligations survive termination for 2 years.

Data Processing

Our collection and processing of data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the data practices described therein.

6. Intellectual Property

  • The SecurityBox platform, including its AI analysis engine, detection capabilities, scoring methodologies, and reporting framework, is the intellectual property of CyberHunter Solutions
  • Risk assessment reports and findings generated for your environment are licensed to you for internal use
  • You may share reports with auditors, regulators, insurers, and board members as needed for compliance and governance

7. Limitations

No Guarantee of Security

SecurityBox significantly improves risk visibility and reduces risk posture, but no security solution can guarantee the prevention of all breaches or attacks. Our service provides risk assessment and recommendations — not a guarantee of security.

Service Availability

We target 99.9% platform availability for the SecurityBox portal and reporting. Network appliances operate independently and are not affected by cloud service interruptions. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CyberHunter Solutions’ total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the use of SecurityBox shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify CyberHunter Solutions against claims arising from your misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, or failure to act on critical findings after reasonable notice.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the SecurityBox platform
  • Use SecurityBox to monitor environments you are not authorized to assess
  • Share platform access credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Use findings or reports to harm third parties
  • Interfere with the operation of SecurityBox appliances or cloud connectors

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We will notify active clients of material changes via email with at least 30 days’ notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CyberHunter Solutions operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved after 30 days, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration under applicable commercial arbitration rules.
